This charming, pan-tiled cottage adjoins the croquet lawn of a large country home overlooking the Trent Valley. Although quite small, it is very comfortable and exceptionally well-equipped. Accommodation comprises an open plan lounge/ kitchen/ dining area and one double bedroom, which has an en-suite shower/ wc. Click here to see what is also included in your stay. Please note that there is no smoking inside the cottage. There is a private external patio and free use can be made of the extensive surrounding grounds, which include a private spinney, large Lawns and a small orchard. Some lovely walks can be embarked upon from footpaths nearby. Sherwood Forest, the Dukeries (including Chatsworth), and the Derbyshire Peak Districts are all not too far away. There is a surprising and diverse range of visitor attractions in the region and many of our guests make return visits to enjoy them. A comprehensive Tourist Information File is kept in the cottage and we regularly update it. If you do have a particular reason for visiting the area we will be pleased to send you details in advance of your booking.
A minimum stay of three nights is normally required, but we are very flexible and will try to meet your requirements whenever possible. A £30.00 deposit per stay is required before confirmation can be provided. PLEASE NOTE deposits are not refundable and we advise all guests to ensure that their holiday insurance covers unforeseen cancellation charges. The balance for your holiday is due by return invoice or on arrival. |
